I graduated from Stony Brook University in December 2020 with a B.A in Journalism and Psychology.

I’ve always had an interest in pop culture, which helped me to find my passion of creating stories about music. I hope to one day work in the music journalism field.

As promotions assistant I help to plan and coordinate radio station events and giveaways.

The Stony Brook Press
(2018 – Present)
I am the current executive editor for Stony Brook University’s campus culture magazine. In the past I’ve been the associate and music section editor. I write and edit stories on top of managing the Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts. I host and produce Press Play, a music and pop culture podcast, and edit and produce the magazine’s other podcasts Full Court Press and The Utopian. 

The Osprey
(Spring 2020)
As a contributing writer I report, produce and edit weekly written and multimedia news stories for a weekly Long Island online magazine.

Stony Brook Newsbreak
(Fall 2019)
Newsbreak is a weekly news broadcast focused on international, national, and local Long Island news. I was an anchor, events reporter and did off camera work in the control room. I worked stationary video cameras, as well as writing scripts, making graphics and managing audio. 

Jimmy Lyles Productions
(2017 – Present)
I am the photo booth attendant and DJ assistant. I work with sound, camera and lighting equipment for private events that I help to photograph.

The Statesman

As a contributing writer I wrote music and television reviews and did event coverage for the Stony Brook University weekly newspaper.
